CAROLINIAN FOREST FESTIVAL

The Long Point Region Conservation Authority is a proud partner of the Carolinian Forest Festival.  Each fall, the Festival is held at Springwater Conservation Area and the Jaffa Environmental Education Centre.

Based on the concept of the highly successful Children’s Water Festival, the Carolinian Forest Festival was developed to provide a unique opportunity for grade 6 and 7 students to learn about the importance of forests in our lives and communities.

This annual festival brings together educators, forest resource professionals, community volunteers, conservation groups and government to provide students with the opportunity to discover the value and importance of the Carolinian Life Zone and our local forests through interactive learning.
